GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practice) is a guideline helping companies and suppliers in the pharmaceutical sector and related industries to get validated automation systems. GAMP provides to suppliers of such systems with best practice advice on the design and maintenance of these systems. In addition, GAMP contains recommendations to draw up documents necessary for the validation of such systems.

Agoria is the federation for the technology industry and Belgium’s largest employers’ organisation and trade association. They are representing and helping more than 1,600 companies in the technology industry.

The big problem of these medicines is not that they are not helping for the ‘social’ diseases, and that they are not helping at all in case of real infections or viral diseases. During his social work in Africa, inXites partner Wim De Bruyn – together with Eric Meersman, the country manager of www.ex-change.be for Madagascar – noticed that fraud in the pharmaceutical sector is even more acute in Africa than in Europe.

Right now, an action plan is being established to try to solve this problem, as well as the business problems that ICT-companies and IT-professionals in Madagascar are facing. The goal of this plan is to set up development and service teams for European and world-wide customers. For this purpose, we are teaching them a.o. project management skills.

The inhabitants of Madagascar (‘les Malgaches’, as they call themselves) have a unique combination of qualities. They are interested in IT and business. And in addition to English – the ‘lingua franca’ of business and IT – they also speak French fluently, which is very useful in development projects that inXites is launching to present new products to the European and other markets.

The country of Madagascar has many precious resources, including oil, minerals and clever workforce. Their ICT skills will enable them to provide services to the European market, as demonstrated already for customers such as EDF, ‘les hopitaux de France’ and other European institutions. ICT development and anti-counterfeiting are just 2 of the areas where we can make a difference.

Using their IT skills serves a double purpose: to develop a better service for the European companies on the one hand and to create a better future for the ” Malgache” people on the other hand, by providing employment and fighting diseases.

Colleague Lex Van Hende, inXites BI en BOBJ specialist, presented a real life case of extracting data from SAP ERP into KPI-dashboards and drill down analytics towards the students 3rd year applied informatics of University college Ghent.
